Mother Maggie Bushytail and her husband, Oliver, are the best bakers in town. They work at the Tickle-Your-Taste-Buds Bakery, where the pies and cakes taste as delicious as they smell!

Brother Henry Bushytail loves to spend time in the kitchen while his parents are baking, and he’s learning a huge amount about flavours and cooking times!

Baby sister Honeybun Bushytail is quite indecisive. When she was asked what she wanted to do for her birthday, she couldn’t pick one single thing as there were just too many choices.

Parents Sydney & Mel Canberra are famous actors from the Toowoomba Acting Troupe, and they spend most of the year starring in big movies. When they wanted a holiday where the whole family could relax, their daughter, Tessa, suggested they went in disguise to make sure that nobody would recognise them.

They arrived in Honeysuckle Hollow in wigs, hats and sunglasses and spent many happy days going on bike rides, swimming, and most of all, making lots of new friends. It’s no wonder they decided to stay!

One day, their home was damaged in a big storm. But being an optimistic bunch, the Croakalilys decided to make an opportunity out of this unfortunate turn of events, and set off immediately for a family camping trip while they planned the repairs to their home. Little did they know that their friends in the village already had a plan, and by the time they got back, their house was as good as new!

Roberto & Maria Curlicue and their adorable children Toby & Olive are big fans of food and cooking. Roberto loves to practice family dishes that were handed down to him by his grandma, including her secret recipe for perfect homemade pasta!

Their love of good food led to them opening an Italian restaurant in Honeysuckle Hollow, where they prepare the finest pizza and pasta in town, all from their family recipes. Maria always says that hard work, good will, and a pinch of kindness is always the perfect recipe for a happy family.

Mother Meg Graypaws and her husband, Maverick, run the General Store in Honeysuckle Hollow. This hard-working family are at the very centre of the community and are friends with everyone.

 

One day there was a delivery at the General Store that wasn’t quite as expected, but luckily their children, Miles & Luna, had a perfect idea that saved the day, and they even helped buy more books for the village library in the process too!

Handydandy Mice

Father Benjamin Handydandy and his wife Mimi can fix almost a7nything. Their workshop is over-flowing with tools and spare parts. Not to mention all the things Benjamin says he just hasn’t got around to fixing yet!

The youngest members of the Handydandy family help out their parents whenever they can. Brother Nibbles can find just the right part his parents are looking for in a flash, while baby sister Sunny is excellent at helping with the tidying up.

Healthnuggle Bears

The Healthnuggles are kind, gentle and generous. At their clinic Dr Barb and Dr Todd heal everything! From stuffed noses to sprained paws, they have the best remedies in town. Their children, Hazel and Romeo, also help the patients to feel better by telling them jokes, or running extra bandages around to neighbours to help them get well soon.

Sister Hazel also loves picnics and often packs up a hamper full to bursting with goodies to meet up with her friends at weekends.

Baby Romeo spends a lot of time with his best friend, Cookie Tippytail, as they have the same babysitter!

Hoppingood White Rabbits

Father Elliot Hoppingood is an arable farmer, and he grows everything his family need to feed all the villagers in Honeysuckle Hollow! His blueberries are especially good.

Mother Amelia Hoppingood runs the Hoppin’ Farmers Market, selling all the fresh produce Elliot grows on the family farm. The villagers can chose from a vast array of fruit and vegetables, with seasonal favourites always being especially popular.

Sister Star Hoppingood loves to help out in the family business. Whether it be harvesting crops in the fields with her father, or helping her mother at the market on busy weekends, there is always something to do.

Baby brother Theo Hoppingood is a little small to help out his family just yet. However he does like to eat the produce, especially the blueberries, which caused a bit of a fuss one time! You can read more about that in the family story book.

Meet the Kingsberry Lion Family. Parents Katt & Roy are dentists and work hard to make sure that all the villagers in Honeysuckle Hollow have clean and healthy teeth.

 

Their daughter Kya has lovely teeth, which she is always proud to show off when she smiles. Baby Kip is waiting for her teeth to come through, but loves to visit her parents at the Health Clinic while they are working so they can check on the progress of baby’s first tooth!

McBristly Porcupines

You might not think it to look at them, but porcupine sister Quinn McBristly and her family adore the seaside! So much so that her father, Porter, decided to create them their very own Tiki Hut on the beach. Baby Quill just adores making sandcastles, while mother Peggy is a keen surfer and loves to get out on the water on her board!

When they’re not spending time at their Tiki Hut, the family are running their tailor’s shop in Honeysuckle Hollow, it’s called Pins & Needles!

Moosicalmoo Cows

Father Enzo Moosicalmoo and his wife, Jessie, are both talented opera singers. When they were younger they toured the world performing in fantastic concert venues. Since their children, Nolan and Bella arrived, they have settled in Honeysuckle Hollow and now teach music and singing lessons.

The whole Moosicalmoo family love music, and often put on shows for their friends and neighbours. Audience participation isn’t just encouraged, it’s compulsory!

Wendi Oliphant and her husband, Eddie, run the Soda Shop in Honeysuckle Market Square. They have both worked in diners for many years and are delighted to have finally opened their own place!

 

Their children, Lizz and Fizz, love helping out - mainly as taste-testers for all the amazing new flavours of soda their parents come up with. Although they have grown up knowing that fizzy pop and ice cream sundaes are extra special treats and not the kind of food you should be eating all the time.

 

The family are huge fans of music, which is why Eddie insisted on an old-fashioned jukebox for the soda shop.

Quickquack Ducks

Mother Cappy Quickquack and her husband, Quincy, are keen sailors and are never happier than when out on their boat. They love life on the water so much in fact, that they started a business giving boat tours around the lakes of Honeysuckle Hollow. They will take you to discover nature, cruise the waterways, and of course, spend time with your friends.

Their children, Kenny and Kelly, love to help their parents with the tours.  They are especially good at showing the younger villagers that there is nothing to be afraid of on the water, as long as you wear your life jacket and stick to the Waterways Code.

Riverdipper Hippos

Wade Riverdipper and his wife, Penny, are the hottest fashion designers in Honeysuckle Hollow.

 

They are about to put on their biggest ever fashion show, but at the last minute all their models cancel on them! Their kids, Humprey and Heidi, make a suggestion that may just save the day and they invite all their friends and neighbours to model the precious new outfits.

Scamperscoot Chipmunks

Join chipmunk mother Marigold Scamperscoot and her family as they create the best ice cream sundaes in Honeysuckle Hollow. All the family members wear co-ordinating outfits in pink and blue, which matches the décor of their ice cream parlour in the village perfectly.

 

One summer, father Chewey suggested they create a brand new flavour of ice cream, but much as they tried, they just couldn’t find the perfect choice. So that’s when brother Snap suggested turning their search into a competition for the villagers of Honeysuckle Hollow, to find the favourite ice cream flavour of all time. Which flavour do you think won the competition?

 

 

Skyhopper Pandas

Father: Roger

Mother: Flora

Baby brother: Skip

The Skyhopper panda family live and work at the Sunny Skies Airport, where they fix, fly and love aeroplanes.  Father Roger is the pilot, and flies to all sorts of popular destinations with eager holidaymakers on board. Mother Flora is the chief engineer, taking responsibility for keeping their planes in tip-top condition and ensuring all the safety checks are carried out.

When she’s not at school, sister Liv helps out with any passenger queries and also keeps an eye on any little ones to make sure they stay safe around the airport. Baby Skip is too small to help out just yet, but he loves watching the planes land and take-off!

Snipadoodle Sheep

Father: Ozzie

If you’re in need of a haircut, nail trim or simply some good old fashioned pampering, then you need sheep parents Lucy & Ozzie Snipadoodle, Honeysuckle Hollow’s top hairstylist and beautician.

 

Father Ozzie is an expert makeup artist and beautician, he knows all the therapies you could possibly need to help you relax. Mother Lucy can create the perfect style whatever your hair type, and she even has a range of adorable wigs.

 

Their children, big brother Jake and baby sister Emmie keep their parents’ salon full of giggles, making their customers laugh. Jake loves to take dozens of pictures of his parents at work and is always shouting out poses for them and their clients to adopt, while baby Emmie makes the funniest faces.

Tailfeather Cardinals

Mother Annie Tailfeather and her husband, Redd, are expert florists. They create wonderful bouquets and planters for any special occasion in Honeysuckle Hollow!

 

Sister Poppy and baby brother Blaze love to help out at the Li’l Blossoms Flower Shop, where their parents work. They are full of the greatest ideas, and are already learning lots about flowers and gardening.

Tidyshine Turtles

Father: Suds

Father Suds Tidyshine is responsible for all the laundry and ironing in the family business. He takes enormous pride in his work, and spends extra time on important garments like school uniforms to ensure everyone looks smart for class.

Mother Sally Tidyshine is the head of the family business. She makes all the appointments with their clients, and deals with all the cleaning and tidying. She and Suds use roller-skates to get from house to house meaning they are the fastest turtles in town!

Brother Buster Tidyshine hasn’t inherited the family gene for clean, and has one of the most untidy bedrooms in Honeysuckle Hollow! However his heart is in the right place, and he does try very hard to help keep the house tidy!

Baby sister Bubbles Tidyshine can often be found with her father while he is working. She is fascinated by the bubbles in the laundry room, which might be how she got her name!

Tippytail Foxes

Mother Suzy Tippytail and her husband Tommy are both teachers in Honeysuckle Hollow. All the children love going to school and spend the whole day studying and enjoying playtime with their friends. Brother Howie and baby Cookie help out in the classroom too, from sharpening the pencils to wiping down the blackboard after lessons.

When the weather is too hot, they move all the furniture outside and nature becomes their classroom for the day. After all, it’s so easy to learn when you’re having fun!

Father Madox Vanderhoof and his wife, Eloise, are expert garden designers, and run their own business in Honeysuckle Hollow called ‘Leaf Lovin’ Landscapers’.

Their children, Willie & Mina, sometimes get bored while their parents are working. Their favourite thing to do is to hop into the caravan and play, and they get so excited when the family head off on vacation!

Whiffpuff Skunks

Father: Jacob

If you need something to make your home smell gorgeous then you must visit the Fresh-as-a-Daisy Scent Shop in Honeysuckle Hollow.

 

Father Jacob Whiffpuff runs the store, and works with his eldest daughter, Violet, to create the most wonderful, natural products and toiletries. Their marshmallow-scented candles and cinnamon-bun shampoo are the best-sellers!

Mother Jasmine Whiffpuff is in charge of the Air Quality Patrol. When she’s not slaving away over the company books, she is patrolling Honeysuckle Hollow, measuring the air quality and keeping an eye out for fallen trees that need replanting. Jasmine loves being out and about, especially as she can push baby Iris in her pram while she’s working.

Whiskerelli Cats

Father: Chet

Mother: Kitt

Come and cook incredible meals with aspiring young chef Wally Whiskerelli, his baby sister Dixie, and their parents Chet & Kitt.

 

Mother Kitt has a fantastic recipe for zucchini bread, which is a family secret, but Wally is just learning how to make it himself. It forms the bases of all the veggie sandwiches on the menu.

Father Chet always dreamed of having his own food stall at the country market, but then decided being able take the family’s tasty food anywhere would be better. So he bought an old truck, and has slowly been turning into a colourful, travelling restaurant.

 

Baby sister Dixie is too small to help out in the family business, but she keeps the rest of the family smiling as she learns to walk, talk and laugh.

Whooswhoo Owls

Did you know that owls have the best night vision? Delores Whooswhoo and her husband, Owen, keep watch over Honeysuckle Hollow at night from their lofty perch at the top of the Family Treehouse. They are responsible for the safety of everyone in the village, and are always on alert.

Brother Pete, and baby sister Peep, are too young to stay up all night, but they still like to keep watch over their friends. They’re fantastic to have around if you ever need help solving a mystery!

Woofwinkle Dalmation Dogs

Father: Toby 

Mother: Molly Sue

There isn’t a kinder family anywhere in Honeysuckle Hollow. Father Tobby Woofwinkle and his wife, Molly Sue, run the Li’l Love & Hugs Nursery, providing day care for all your smallest villagers.

Molly Sue has a calm and soothing voice, perfect for story time and getting the babies down for their naps. Tobby takes great pride in making all the furniture and playground equipment using natural materials. There’s even a tree growing inside the nursery!

Sister Ruby and her baby brother Patch are friends with all the other children in the village as they spend so much time with them at nursery!
